LAHORE/PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders Chaudhry Sarwar and Shah Farman will take oath today (Wednesday) as governor of Punjab and KP respectively.

Sarwar, the former member of the British parliament, has served as Governor Punjab from August 2013 to January 2015 in Pakistan Mulsim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) previous government.
On the other hand, PTI’s Shah Farman will also take oath as the 32nd governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK).
According to the government sources, Chief Justice of the Peshawar High Court, Justice Waqar Ahmad Seth, will administer the oath to the new KP governor.

KP Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan and Corps Commander Peshawar Lt General Nazir Ahmed Butt will attend the oath-taking ceremony.
Both the governors are scheduled to take oath at 3 pm today.
Earlier, the oath-taking ceremony of the governors was postponed as the presidential election was taking place in the country.
